Monthly Giving Secures a Bright Future for Women and Girls in Rajasthan

Kelly Escribens, who lives in Los Angeles and works at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, gets her heart racing by supporting the women and girls of Rajasthan, India.

Kelly made her first trip to India in 2019 with Kristine Rodriguez and three other women as part of the GRL Collective outreach. She describes meeting the girls at the Sheerni Boarding Home as life-changing. “They are so full of love, compassion and have a thirst for life.” Within days, Kelly and the women from GRL Collective raised enough money for new mattresses, blankets, hygiene products, and a desktop computer.

Philanthropy allows us to share our time, love, and resources. I believe everyone should have equal opportunities
— Kelly Escribens

She learned from her immigrant parents, who provide meals to the homeless in their community. “It is rewarding to impact a stranger positively.”

Kelly is a recurring donor to Sambhali U.S. “This way,” she says, ”I know resources go directly to the girls every month.”

Recurring donors are golden, providing the assured income that allows Sambhali U.S. to most effectively support the Sheerni Boarding Home and other Sambhali Trust projects. Please consider joining Kelly and the other incredible recurring donors who make sure their generosity continues to reach the other side of the world. Simply select the amount and frequency that works for you on our online donation form.
