Aadarsh: “Ideal” Program in Schools
The Aadarsh program consists of two workshops given by Sambhali Trust staff in public and private schools in Jodhpur.
Through the No Bad Touch program, established in 2013, Sambhali Trust became the first organization to address the issue of child sexual abuse openly within the city of Jodhpur. Children learn what sexual abuse is and how to take action in response to abuse.
The Save Youth/Save Nation workshop was added in 2019 to reach teenagers with information about the physical, mental, and emotional changes happening during puberty, sexual abuse and harassment, internet safety, and avoiding crime.
No Bad Touch and Save Youth/Save Nation are given to both girls and boys, understanding that all children are vulnerable to abuse as well as how the important information in the programs furthers gender equality.
